Singer Kylie Minogue and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am will join The Voice: Australia as coaches, Channel Nine has announced.
The pair will depart their gig on the UK version of the show to join season one and two veterans Ricky Martin and Joel Madden in the red chairs.
Delta Goodrem has been moved from the panel to join Joel Madden in the chair for the first season of The Voice Kids which will feature the singing talents of kids aged 8 to 14.
Said will.i.am of his new gig on Aussie television: “It is an honour to join The Voice Australia as a Coach working alongside Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden. Australia is a highly creative country and a place with many good memories that have shaped my music career.”
The Black Eyed Peas singer has worked with both Minogue and Martin on past music projects and credits Australia as the place where he discovered electronic dance music.
