Hse of Nwocha presents its S/S ‘14 lookbook, tagged White Rose. This collection is all about femininity, fun and prints. “You must find some element of fun in every piece,” says Ugonna, “or the point of Summer would be lost entirely.”
From the monochrome lush floral print to the burgundy and white floral print, this collection is all about having fun in the sun in floral and striped prints. The burgundy floral theme print was hand painted by an artiste, then embellished to perfection, the perfect pair of high-waisted dungarees and crop tops are back from the 90s. The preppy party dresses and cut outs day dresses are to die for.
The garments are cut in an old technique showing off a low waste line in swingy silhouettes. Florals are part of the Hse of Nwocha repertoire for summer looks.
The dress that would make everyone sit up and take notice would be the beaded purple cape faille gown. It is a classic HON—as elegant and ladylike as they come. Judging from the cuts and colors of this collection, Hse of Nwocha has Monaco on her mind, because these pieces are perfect for those whose daily routine includes cocktails on a yacht.
Hse of Nwocha will be showing its S/S14 collection at the 2013 Glitz Africa Fashion Week in Ghana on the 8th of November.
