Weekly Chelsea FC Focus: Fernando Torres is ‘BACK’ For Good

share on:

Starting from this week i’ll be writing a weekly article focusing on Chelsea football club(Which I support), I hope to do this for other clubs in the nearest future but they say ‘charity begins at home’ so i’ll be starting from the club i support. This week it’s all about Fernando Torres, Do you think he is finally back?, I think he is, what’s your opinion. Chelsea Fans and Non-Chelsea Fans are encouraged to comment, thanks.. Enjoy the read.

There have been instances before when it had been suggested that Fernando Torres had gotten his mojo back, but they all seemed to be false alarms.

But this time around, I`m beginning to think that Torres has been given some extra motivation by Jose Mourinho. His performance against Manchester City was surely 5 stars (Except that one-on-one miss) , man of the match material and if anyone deserved to get the winner it was Fernando (Which he eventually got, God bless Joe Hart and Matija Nastasic. :-p

Fernando Torres Winning goal

After the game Fernando gave his views on what had occurred out on the Stamford Bridge pitch, remarking to the media,

‘In a game like this against a great team in the last minutes it tastes much better to score. We controlled the game and created many chances but Sergio Aguero can score goals at any time. We won a game we deserved to win, we are really pleased to beat a contender for the title.”

‘It’s a long ball, every ball has to be the most important ball of the game because it can be the one which wins you the game. The chance I missed in the first half I thought I was offside, I should have stayed calm. I made the assist and hit the post so I am happy with my performance.’

And so are we Fernando, and so are we..
