After Charlie Hunnam pulled out of the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey Universal and Focus had to return to the drawing board to look for his replacement and it seems their search is over as Northern Irish actor, model, and musician Jamie Dornan has been selected to take on the role of Christian Grey in the movie.
According to Variety, the actor who is best known for his role in Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and American actor Billy Magnussen were brought in for a screen test alongside Dakota Johnson (who plays Anastasia in the movie) before deciding not to try other actors and go with Dornan.
While Jamie Dornan doesn’t have a long list of movies or series to his name, you can check him out playing Sheriff Graham Humbert in ABC’s Once Upon a Time to see what he’s like on-screen.
