Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Cesc Fabregas will stay at Barcelona – despite interest from Manchester United.

Fabregas, who played under Wenger at Arsenal for eight years before returning to his native Catalonia in 2011, has been the subject of two bids from United.

However, both have been rejected by Barca and Wenger is certain the 26-year-old will not be leaving the Nou Camp in the current transfer window.Cesc-Fabregas-of-FC-Barcelona

“What I know is that Fabregas will stay one more year, at least, in Barcelona,” said the Frenchman. “That’s the information I have.

“If that changes, I don’t know. But that’s what I’ve been told.”

  1. Journalism should be objective and void of personal preferences. If you can’t put that aside then you have no business writing articles for public view. This site is not an anti-arsenal or pro whatever club it is you support. Most of your posts on Arsenal have been riddled with subliminal jabs at Wenger. Just think you have the wrong approach. Starting a blog celebrating the team you support would better suit this sort of posts.
    – just my thoughts!
