They say no matter what happens, true love never dies.
After reports months back suggested that Chris Brown had cut ex-girlfriend Rihanna off his album following their publicized fall-out, the singer posted a tweet confirming that Riri was still going to be on the album.
“New album features @NICKIMINAJ ,Kendrick , @rihanna, @KELLYROWLAND , @wizkhalifa ,@bobatl and more surprises to come. “X” (sic)” he wrote on Twitter.
Some time ago, Chris teased the track with Rihanna would be called Put It Up and had an R&B vibe.
However, it was then rumoured he had dropped his ex-girlfriend from the album.
“Just saw the working tracklist for X yesterday – Rihanna is not on there,” a source previously Hollywood Life. “Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn’t allow the record to be released unless they took it off.”
Since splitting from Rihanna earlier this year, Chris has rekindled his relationship with former flame Karrueche Tran.
The pair apparently attended the BET Awards after-party at the end of last month looking “loved up”.
X is due for release on July 16 and it’s rumoured a track featuring Jennifer Lopez will also be included.
