In what started like speculations, the strike is now in its 6th day and we’ve not heard anything from the Federal government or ASUU; although ASUU still maintains that its going to go on for the next three months… Haba… I should just go and learn a trade or something.

Each school’s population keeps reducing every hour as students are beginning to accept the reality of the strike while some are already at home, the rest are still hoping for a reinstatement by ASUU (your faith can move mountains you know?) while some of the lecturers have advised  that students should read vehemently as the outcome or when the strike will be over is still unknown but it might lead to Examinations afterwards. While some students find this moment as the chilling period, some are angered by the whole event… Me sef dey chill now tho **eyes rolling** but my way o no be your way o.

Please on behalf of Nigerian students, I’m pleading with the parties involved, come to a conclusion and put an end to the strike as the future of this generation is strongly at stake!!!
