Lauryn Hill The Great: Back With ‘Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)’ [LISTEN]

share on:

From Fugees to Miseducation, our beloved Lauryn Hill is back with fresh music and its like she never left.  Lauryn delivers her brand new track with a fast flow that only a few male rappers and even less than a few for female rappers.

Neurotic Society(listen below) is fast, fresh and its L-Boogie back in top form.  We can’t wait for the rest of the album which would surely make a mark.

According to Lauryn, she was compelled to drop the single by her management due to impending legal issues(tax evasion, read here) which needs to resolved soon otherwise she could face some jail time. But we don’t care really, its Ms Lauryn Hill.

Here is what Lauryn shared with us via her tumblr (MsLaurynHill) with regards to the release of her new song.

“Hello All:

Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there. In light of Wednesday’s tragic loss (of former label mate Chris Kelly), I am even more pressed to YELL this to a multitude that may not understand the cost of allowing today’s unhealthy paradigms to remain unchecked!

– MLH”
