Following the 2013 Time 100 Gala which took place in New York City, we’ve picked our favourite looks from the red carpet – the parade of some of the world’s most influential people as honoured by Time magazine.
We’ve concentrated solely on the 6 ladies that stood out on the red carpet. The best dressed goes to Olivia Munn who elegantly stole the show in her sunflower yellow strapless lace Michael Kors dress.
Olivia complements the look with almost nude make-up with a touch of pink on her lips and her hair swept back. Her dress gets all the lime light it deserves without competition from anything else. LOVE!
Christina Aguilera looks absolutely delish with her old Hollywood look in a simple but sexy black Victoria Beckham dress. She complements the look with diamonds, her trademark red lips and platinum blonde side-swept hair. This was one event it was necessary for her not to pull any of her fashion faux-pas and we love her for it.
Our very own Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde aka Omosexy is gorgeous in her stunning black sequinned Iconic Invanity dress which is panelled in the right places. We love how Nigerian designer, Iconic Invanity sculpts Omotola’s very curvy frame, highlighting her best assets – bum & hips. Omotola’s look is complemented with swept back hair, beautiful chandelier earrings and bright orange nails.
Padma Lakshmi, a TV foodie channeled art-deco in her monochrome strapless striped dress. Particularly, loving the mix of prints – checks & stripes. The check design around the waist gives the dress an edge. She keeps her hair swept back to show off her beautiful cheekbones and adds a touch of colour with her long green earrings.
Jessica Biel attended the event with her husband Justin Timberlake. The actress looked stunning as showed off her inner goddess in Grecian style – an asymmetric draped black dress which she teamed up with a pair of ankle strap peep toe shoes. Her hair is loosely undone which gives the entire outfit extra sex appeal. We love how the drapes fall in the right places.
Claire Danes goes for an almost prim & proper print Lanvin dress which works well on her frame. We love how the dress is fitted from the top and flares out just before the knee. Her black pumps gives an extra oomph factor to the bold yet subtle coloured dress.
