Africa’s Most Sought After Artist, IYANYA To Launch His New Album In The UK.

share on:

Top African artist IYANYA is set to treat his fans in the UK to an intimate gig this summer as he launches his highly anticipated album, Iyanya Vs Desire at the London IndigO2 on 9th June 2013 and Manchester’s HMV Ritz on 14th June 2013.

After its successful launch and release in Nigeria, the new album has strongly affirmed Iyanya as one of the biggest African artists of 2013. The Album Launch Concert is organised by the same team behind Wizkid’s sold out gig at the HMV Apollo in 2012.

Iyanya, the co-owner of the Made Men Music Group, also known as “Triple MG” became a popular force within the Nigerian music scene in 2012, when he released his hit single ‘Kukere’, with over seven million views on youtube. He went to release his second successful single ‘Your Waist’, which is still heard in many clubs today.

The singer has risen in stature to become an A‐list artiste in such a very short time. Last year, he performed at the Sold Out AY Comedy Show in London. The crowd went wild as he performed his songs and trademark dance moves.

No doubt the concert will be a full house and fans can expect a top-‐notch performance from the Kukere master and his tantalising waist moves. London’s favourite African comedian, Eddie Kadi will host Iyanya at both venues with performances from Iyanya’s Triple MG label mate Emma Nyra and few special guests.

If you live in the UK – WATCH Sounds of Afrobeats IYANYA SPECIAL on VOX Africa Sky218 on Fridays 9pm.

COKOBAR is also giving all his female fans a chance to win £1,000 spending money to go shopping with the kukere master himself.
