Today marks Slim Burna’s 25th birthday, and to celebrate, the Port-Harcourt bred crooner has given his fans a present in the form of a free mixtape. Despite being involved in a “scary” accident a couple of months ago, Slim Burna did not relent but forged ahead and brought the project to successful completion.
The expertly crafted remixes and few original tracks on ‘I’m On Fire’ demonstrates the intense potential that the artist holds. Consisting of mostly hiphop-tinged dancehall vibes, and fusion of elements from a few other musical genres such as reggae, r&b, rap and pop, the mixtape also puts Slim’s versatility and ingenuity in the spotlight.
Complete with guest appearances from Timaya’s protege Attitude, Squeeze, Young Stunna, Bukwild Da Ikwerrian and more. The 15-track project is expected to garner Slim some much-needed attention as a rising artist to take his career to next level.
NB: The previously released mixtape front cover has been altered to display just one logo (the P.A sticker). The rest of the logos can now be found on the tape’s back cover.
