True Love: Man With Terminal Brain Cancer Set To Marry High-School Love

With only a several months to live, Nolan Keane, a 28-year-old baseball star from MIssouri State University has inspired friends, family and strangers to help make his last wish come true. Keane has been fighting the fierce battle against brain cancer since 2008 together with his high school sweetheart Morgan Carstens.

Through thick and thin, the two have been faithful to each other throughout the entire process of treatments and surgeries. Radaronline reported that Carstens had put her career on hold to take care of Keane full time.

This story reminds us about the power of love and the power of will to live life to the fullest.

Despite the negative reality that Keane’s life will end very soon, Keane and Carstens will be getting married on March 9, 2013. Their dream is to “go back to Disney one last time for their honeymoon” as stated on the Giveforward.com page set up to fundraise for their honeymoon trip.

Since the special page launched with the help of friends and family, $38,297 has been raised as of March 2, 2013, surpassing their goal of $20,000.
