Roc Nation, home to artists like J.Cole and Rita Ora, is welcoming super producer Timbaland to the family.
Jay-Z revealed his company’s new addition on his “Life & Times” blog with a photo of them two hanging in the studio. For the past two decades, Timbaland has worked with some of the biggest names in the game including: Janet Jackson, Usher, Nas, Eminem, No Doubt, and M.I.A. to name a few. In his early years, Tim’s work helped to launch the careers of Jodeci and Aaliyah. He’s also collaborated with Jay on some of his biggest hits including “Big Pimpin’,” from Vol. 3 (1999), “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” from The Black Album (2003) and “Off That” featuring Drake from The Blueprint 3 (2009). With their history of success it’s no wonder the rapper decided to bring Tim into the fold. Earlier this month, Timbaland released “The Party Anthem” which features his longtime collaborator Missy Eilliot as well as Lil Wayne and T-Pain. So far, the Virginia-born producer is making his mark on the New Year.
