CAF To Make U-17 & U-20 Championship Draws On December 9

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will make the final draw for the 2013 Orange CAF U-17 and U-20 African Championship on Sunday, December 9 at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Sunday’s U-17 draw in Cairo will pit hosts Morocco, Congo-Brazzaville, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Nigeria, Botswana and Gabon into two groups of four.The U-20 will also pit hosts Algeria, Benin, Ghana, Egypt, Congo DR, Gabon, Nigeria and Mali into two groups of four. Meanwhile, the U-17 draw will be without reigning African champions Burkina Faso after losing 3 – 0 to Tunisia. The U-17 championship will be held in Morocco while that of the U-20 will be held in Algeria.
