“Behind every great successful man is a strong, fashionable woman.”

US first lady Michelle Obama has already established herself as a fashion icon and, judging from some posts I stumbled upon while trolling the interwebs, a yardstick for what today’s ideal wife should be.

Needless to say, the first lady, spotted at several rallies and campaigns, played a huge role in the re-election of husband, US President Barack Obama. Of course, I believe her amazing wardrobe had a lot more to do with influencing the votes. i mean, who wouldn’t want a stunning, woman with amazing fashion sense ruling the free world?

While this theory is debated, why don’t we take a look at some of the ensembles the first lady was spotted in during the presidential campaign.
