The N200million “House of Music” belonging to Yinka Ayefele has been marked for demolition by the Oyo state government, with the singer coming out to plead the decision.

Ayefele is torn apart by the decision, and expressed his annoyance that his property is marked for demolition. He said, “I’ll never go against the law… We compiled with the required step back according to the law… The Federal Housing Authority approved it… Since I learnt this, I have been broken down… In fact, I cannot concentrate on my next studio album… This is my sweat over the years… I’m appealing to Governor Ajimobi… I believe there is a way out.”

Speculation arose that the decision could have a political foundation, due to the fact that Ayefele was a known supporter of Governor Ajimobi’s predcessor, Chief Alao-Akala, but the singer dismissed the notion.
