Adebayo Oke-Lawal’s ORANGE CULTURE @ GHANA FASHION AND DESIGN WEEK 2012

share on:

At the just concluded Ghana Fashion and Design Week,  Adebayo Oke -Lawal’s brand, Orange Culture was certainly one of my favourites on the runway.  His collection was filled with vibrant colours and patterns for both male and female which lit up the runway – the dresses, the blazers plus the ankara panels on the sleeves, the cigarette pants, the hot pants, the ankara turn up sleeves – all absolutely well turned out by the designer.

I helped in styling this collection for the runway and I must say it was so much fun tying the turbans on the female models – I loved the total look of it all plus it was so much fun working with Bayo.

Ok, enough of my stories, please enjoy the pictures and tell us what you think.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE COLLECTION.

  1. Wow! This is nice, Adebayo Jnr! This Collection reinstates the quintessential Orange Culture lady & bloke! My fave female piece is the yellow blazer + shirt worn with matching ankara turban + cigarette pant! I also love d “pop” of red neckpiece on the whole ensemble! Nice one Adebayo & stylist!
