London Metropolitan University To Take Legal Action Against UKBA

share on:

Following the revocation of their foreign student license, the London Met University has decided to take legal action against the United Kingdom Border Agency, so that its student can return to study “as a matter of urgency”.

After the UKBA claimed that over a quarter of sampled students were illegally in the UK, the University issued a statement and a lawsuit, saying it has “instructed its Lawyers Pennington Solicitirs LLP to commence urgent legal action to challenge the revocation of it’s highly trusted status for sponsoring international students, so that its students can return to study as a matter of ungerncy”.

The loss of the license could result in almost a £30m loss for the University, and it has vowed to defend its reputation throughout the lawsuit.
