Lil Wayne Sues Quincy Jones III For Using His Songs In The Carter Documentary . International Entertainment News: Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against the maker of his docunmentary The Carter, Quincy Jones III, claiming they violated copyright by using his songs without permission.

According to the rapper, Jones didn’t even bother asking for approval for using songs of Lil Wayne’s award-winning album, Tha Carter III, including Lollipop & A Milli. Although Lil Wayne was initially down with the documentary, he sued the film for what he claimed was “scandalous potrayal” of himself.

This new lawsuit is suing for unspecified damages and an order preventing producers from using his music.
