Kanye West Leads The Pack For BET 2012 Hip-Hop Awards

Despite having not released a solo album since 2010, Kanye West’s importance to the hiphop game is still very much evident, with the rapper gathering 17 nominations for the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Rookie 2Chainz has 13 nominations, while Drake follows with 11.

The award ceremony takes place on October 9, and is going to be hosted by comedian Mike Epps.
