Powered By Shit: Japan Unveils First Waste-Powered Vehicle

share on:

Japan has made a breakthrough in the development of environmentally-friendly products, with a popular toilet maker coming up with the world’s first “waste-powered” vehicle.

The vehicle, which is a three-wheeled motorcycle, comes along with a toilet instead of a regular seat, and a huge toilet roll. When its tank is filled with animal waste, it can run for 180 miles.

According to Kenji Fujita, the company’s spokeman, the biogas used in powering the vehicle was derived from animal waste and sewage, so human waste couldn’t be used. He also said the company hadn’t decided if they were going commercial with the vehicle.
