LUCYLOVE STYLING DIARY: FLYTIME ENTERTAINMENT AND THE MAVINS

share on:

Hello hello! SO I have been gone for a while (for very justified reasons), but it feels amazing to be back in the swing of things. First things first, I’m super stoked about Don Jazzy’s new label; Mavin Records. So I was also super excited when I was invited to style the anchor presenter for FLYTIME ENTERTAINMENT, who was responsible for conducting the first ever Mavin Records interview.

Testing the camera as usual! Hehe.

FLYTIME PRESENTER: TRACY.

The look we set out to achieve was; preppy with a dash of colour, finished off with an urban twist.

I started building this outfit around a pair of khaki shorts. Tailored shorts are a no brainer and they serve as an instant way to get a preppy and polished look.

Jewellery was very important as she wanted her outfit to still have an urban twist to it!

There is beauty in layering your clothes. Here I teamed a denim shirt with a vintage inspired silk scarf and a green blazer. Layering shows that your outfit has been well planned out and thought through.

Skinny three tone bangles were added for a fun touch.

I finished off the look with a pair of baby pink suede pointed heels. This adds colour and an element of quirkiness to the overall look.
