360Fashion STYLE DIARY is gaining more popularity daily, with more fashion enthusiasts being featured. This week we’ll be featuring a girly girl, NNEKA NWOKEOCHA.
Fashion is an art and the art is usually learned gradually by many, but not Nneka! Fashion is a lifestyle for her, the combination of pieces, colours, and patterns comes naturally creating the beautiful and unique full outfits we see on her. I’m totally excited to see her diary, been while since we featured a lady!

Let’s get one thing straight , I am not a fan of polka dots. It has nothing to do with the motif really. I think it just has to do with my own personal choice when wearing pattern. I just have this expressed disdain for the pattern. Ironically it happens to be the one pattern that stood out to me when I chose to dress up this day.
The photos from today’s outfit were taken in the heart of spring. When the harsh cold was beginning to tone down into warmth and bliss. My mood was pretty much in tune with the weather and so I chose to wear this lace and patchwork Ankara skirt (I just love the embellishments and the floral waist line).
To be honest, the shirt (as aforementioned ) and blazer were randomly selected. I had no idea what to wear with the skirt apart from knowing that I didn’t want to wear a plain shirt or tee. I just wanted something to play up the drama that the skirt had going on. Additional accessories followed suit.
I would have gone for a pair of patent black pumps but I didn’t want to fine- tune the ensemble by adding a neutral colour , hence the navy blue pumps instead.
The croc skin purse was really just in the way and so I carried it along.
The case in point being that sometimes, it is okay to be sporadic about your choice in dressing and to try new things regardless of if they are up your alley or not. Sometimes, the least planned/organised outfits are the most aesthetic .
