Good day great ones, our 360Fashion STYLE DIARY is gaining more popularity daily, with more fashion enthusiasts being featured. This week we’ll be featuring risk taking IFEANYI NWUNE.
Ifeanyi Nwune is an Electrical/Electronics Engineering student at Covenant University, Nigeria. He is a Model, Brand Ambassador for streetwear designer ‘CoolBeans’, an assistant stylist at the recent Arise Magazine Fashion week and currently a stylist/designer with Moda Giovani. As you can fathom he is fast stylishly making his way through the Nigerian fashion industry. He has been featured in the ThisDay Style magazine and Stylemania for his impeccable and unique sense of styIe and I must say that it is a thrill to have him featured on 360NoBS. He says “I love fashion and art in general, so basically anything that relates to both thrills me”, and I’m sure he will thrill you in the next seven days with his sense of style! He is quite the risk taker, in that most of his outfits always have something edgy to them! I’m excited to see what he has to show!
You are welcome to Ifeanyi’s 360Fashion Style Diary: Day 1
Hi guys! 🙂
A bit unsure of how to write, LOL, since i’m quite the practical type but i’ll try my best to make my fashion feelings clear in each of the diary entries. Before we begin, it’ll be of an advantage that you know that I create my own style and I tend to do a lot of unique things with my outfits, some would say weird and some would say edgy. I experiment with fashion and so should you; the clothes and accessories are my play dough and I simply make whatever I like with them regardless of already existing trends.
Now, where were we? Ah yes.. the outfit! Its Monday and by the way I hope you are having a productive day. 🙂
It sounds a bit cliche but Mondays always have a formal air to them and that is what has pushed me to dress in this formal manner.
Its the usual grey Pierre Cardin pants and sky blue Express shirt, you’d agree with me that 6 in 10 business oriented people would be wearing this colours exactly the way I have worn it to their workplace. What makes it different is the multi-coloured J.Press Tie, socks and the suspenders!
The tie is my favourite tie and it adds more fun to the already mundane Monday morning especially since I really didn’t want to get out of bed *rme*…“Colours are very spritual” says Ozwald Boateng and I feel the same way, so the colours on the tie lightened my mood for the day!
The socks are to highlight the dark brown brogues, it would have been normal to wear black brogues but I wanted something not normal, so I wore the brown brogues and highlighted it with the help of the bright red socks!
The suspenders!!! I like them and I have used them as an accessory instead of a kind of shoulder belt. You might find it odd that they’ll be hanging at the back with my blazers on, but that’s my style and I like it!
