THE LUCYLOVE STYLING DIARY TOUR: CREATING CASUAL CHIC AT ZEBRA LIVING. (#2)

share on:

Hello hello my fashion lovelies! I am back again with The LucyLove Styling Diary Tour, last week we invaded the Mango store at  The Palms Lekki and I brought you an eclectic mix of day time and night time wear. (For last week’s diary entry click here).

This week, we broke down the fashion doors of  Zebra Living to give you a sneak peek of the New collection and how to transform some pieces from the collection into fabulous CASUAL CHIC LOOK.

This is me testing the camera. No, I’m not vain.  🙂

Our make-up artist extraordinaire; Jide for Sleek cosmetics.

40s style pencil cut dresses are back, and in vibrant colours too.

I added red and gold Indian bangles to give her 40s style dress an exotic feel.

And of course purple and metallic heels, to add some spunk!

Another 40s style dress in denim teamed with a pair of purple pumps. I love the chic puffy sleeves.

I added stacked rings to this extremely ladylike dress to give it a contrasting feel.

You can always style your dresses with a juxtaposition of accessories, though I added stacked rings for a tough feel, I also teamed her dress with a pearl brooch and purple oversized studs.

This is a fun flirty twist on casual chic! Colour Blocking is here to stay and you can be adventurous by colour blocking with your accessories too!

Bright blue Rayban sunnies teamed with a baby pink peter pan collar blouse is a quick way to colour block.

When wearing so many colours, keep accessories fun and bright but still minimal. Steer clear of chunky and heavy jewellery.

Buba and a pair of shorts is a look I recently came up with, it’s a fun and carefree way to wearing a buba. Here, I styled a beautiful Blue lace buba with a pair of Adire shorts.

I am all for having fun with fashion and mixing unusual colours. Invest in neon accessories like this neon green bib necklace and wear them against bright colours to stand out.

And of course, nude pumps for a casual chic look.

This look has been styled exactly like the Zebra Living campaign shoot (which was also styled by me of course!). This look is incredibly versatile, although its casual chic you can further dress it down by reducing accessories for a less dressy look.

There’s a sure fire way to looking very chic and polished – Pick two colours that are very similar and build your outfit around that. Here, I used brown and cream to build this look.

Minimalism is very much upon us. Minimal accessories ooze sophistication and simplicity.

To pull off minimalism, all you need is a watch and a simple necklace to complement your garment.

To get your Jersey dress(es) fix and casual chic pieces, head down to 33 Sinari Daranijo street, off Ajose Adeogun V.I.

Special thanks to the Life House team for letting 360fashion invade their store and take up all their time.
