Yogurt is not just a delicious snack with fruits at the bottom, it has great health benefits. It is an excellent source of protein, calcium, riboflavin and vitamin B12. It is suitable for lactose intolerant people, helps in weight control, has immunological effects and loads of other benefits, but most importantly; it contains probiotics (live bacteria) which helps give a balance between the non-harmful and harmful bacteria in the body, thereby preventing a lot of infections. (That’s the science bit).
Yogurt is known and consumed in almost all parts of the world. Yogurt comes in various forms: frozen; thick and creamy; or as a drink(the most common type found in Nigeria). Those of you who have had the opportunity to travel overseas and have had a taste of the frozen type and loved it to bits may have been wondering if and when it will ever come to Nigeria. Well, we are very glad to present to you our very first frozen yogurt shop here in Nigeria known as SWEET KIWI Frozen Yogurt.
