The Mask was Lakin Ogunbanwo’s first conceptual exhibition in Lagos. The exhibition was a one-day display of twenty photographic works taken in celebration of the mystery of the human mind and face.
The evening was an electric repertoire of originally scored music – set to inspire. Guests were given the opportunity to use their minds and take part in an Art movement.
The exhibition was held at the Terrakulture Gallery on the 2nd February 2012. The main attraction besides speeches from Curator, Marc Purst and the photographer himself, Lakin Ogunbanwo was a photo area where guests got a chance to take their own portraits with the Mask. All taken images were given to guests as souvenirs.
The exhibition was well attended by Lagos-based celebrities with a few surprise drop-ins including The First lady of Lagos State, Mrs Abimbola Fashola and of course, our very own, Noble Igwe.
