I’m a huge fan of designers that play around with fabrics be it through manipulating fabric or mixing and matching. We have seen a lot of Nigerian designers break away from the norm with fabric manipulation, Orange Culture has followed suit by mixing and matching various fabrics to create beautiful garments.

This capsule collection features patterned Vlisco fabrics constructed together with tough patent leather, canary coloured chiffon and fruity colooured denim. Orange Culture’s mix and match of fabrics comes through on the garments.

The elusive strength collection was created for the fab night out in conjunction with vlisco. Fabrics include Vlisco, leather, lace and chiffon. The collection is about a misunderstood type of feminine strength, a strength empowered by a woman’s sexuality. It celebrates a woman who understands and owns her beauty and the power that it possesses, thus why the pieces are sexy, strong, but still very feminine.
