Mahmud Yezeed, also known as “kidPush” is a 17 year old artiste and sound engineer. An Edo indigene whose passion for music drove him to begin rapping at a very young age, starting up recording raps on tape recorders. Growing up amidst music loving siblings, it was very evident that kidPush was going to catch on with the love of music.
The kidPush works with the professionals of Capital Hill, but has been on his own for some time now. He is an amazing rapper with lyricist skills beyond his years and he says he draws his inspiration by listening to rappers like Easy E, Drake, Eminem, J. Cole, Kendrick Lemar, Common, just to mention a few.
The kidPush is currently in his second year of university with a major in Economics, which has caused his absence from the major music scene for a while now. But the kidPush is planning a big re-entry to solidify his position in the industry with the release of his mixtape “Front Row Music”, which he has been working on for quite some time now. The mixtape should consist of 20 original and diverse tracks, meddling with different genres of music, and fresh instrumentals (no covers).
