8 INSANELY BRILLIANT THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR WEAVE

share on:

You have beautiful hair extensions on, but every morning, you wake up, brush your hair in a mad rush and you race out the door to work or to run errands. If this sounds exactly like you, then we have eight BRILLIANT ideas for what you can do with your hair.

1.      LOOSE CURLS

Forget your ever faithful bendy rollers. All you need is a super hot curling iron, hair serum and hair spray. Apply serum, divide your hair extensions into sections and twist large chunks of hair around your curling iron. Hold for 10 seconds and then release.

2.      THE BALLERINA BUN

Tie your extensions with a hair ruffle. Comb the tip of your hair and spread securely around the already tied hair ruffle. Add some oil sheen for extra shine.

3.     THE QUIFFED PONYTAIL

This can be done in 2 minutes flat. Use a tail comb in the middle of your hair to create a poof. Using hair pins, secure it into a quiff. Using a thin hair band, tie your hair into a ponytail.

4.      THE SEVERE PONYTAIL

Use a think hair band to hold your hair in a tight up do. Using a lot of serum and hair balm to create a severe and extra polished shine.

5.      FRENCH BRAID

This will need a significant amount of practice. Brush your extensions, placing your fingers lightly into your hair begin gently braiding all the way down in the middle, remember a French braid is meant to be a bit messy and effortless looking.  No oil sheen needed. Just holding spray.

6.      MESSY UP-DO

Use a straightner to manipulate the texture of your hair. Once hair has been straightened, sweep a large chunk of your front hair towards the side, leaving some to fall in an uneven manner. Create a messy bun at the back with the rest of the hair that is left.

7.      60S SIDE SWEEP

This style needs a ton of serum, oil sheen, and holding spray. Comb hair meticulously and carefully. Blow dry for 2 minutes with serum to create shine and volume. Using a large brush, brush hair to a side, then use a tail comb to create a large poof at the back. Position this created poof towards the same direction as the side sweep and pin your hair to secure the poof.

8.      DRAMATIC DYE JOB

If you’re stuck in a rut to with what to do with your old hair extensions, a dye job is a sure fire way to mix up your look. Take your extensions to a professional hair stylist for a colouring session. Dual tone hair is very chic and very a la Tiwa Savage.
