BRIDGET AWOSIKA
Bridget Awosika’s ivory collection turned heads on the runway. The ivory collection consisted of pencil bodycon dresses, full edgy maxi skirts, and her signature one shoulder dramatic pieces. I particularly like her collection because ivory is such a neutral colour and it takes a talented designer to show diversity in her garments when using ivory. We love you Bridget!

KIKI KAMANU
Dreamy! Yes that’s the word that hits the nail on the head; DREAMY! Kiki Kamanu’s collection is dreamy! The first shot below is Face of Sleek winner- Makida Moka in a pair of cigarette pants, a bib necklace and an exaggerated dramatic fabulous oversized beach hat. Her collection was made up of exotic custom made prints which were used to make stringy bikinis, cocktail and maxi dresses. Do you finally realize why I call this collection dreamy?

OBSIDIAN
I vividly remember being backstage at the rehearsals for Music Meets Runway 4 months back, I was sitting in the corner minding my business when I was confronted with a rack of clothing from new designer; OBSIDIAN. I was mesmerized by the use of such yummy fruity and candy coated colours for a collection that comprised of tulip silhouettes and tight pencil dresses that caressed every curve. Her collection for the final leg of MTN FASHION WEEK wasn’t far fetched as well.
