KCee born Kingsley Okonkwo has been an unstoppable force in the Nigerian music scene where he has since made his mark over the last 12 years. As a former group member with hit singles such as “Ginger Your Swagger“, “Sengemenge” and “Sio Nkpo“, he now flies solo having dropped the massive joint “Okpekete” which is currently enjoying massive airplay on the radio, clubs, Rhythm 93.7 top 7 Jams and MTN yellow top 10 nationwide, and a video for “Now I Know” that is still on Soundcity Top 10, and all other local tv stations across the country.
“Okpekete” which was officially released 3 months ago has steadily grown to become an entertaining delight due to the fact that the general public is eager to experience the different element he will be introducing to his genre of music.
The video which was shot in Johannesburg in South Africa has an amusing element in it, and KCee is using those elements in the video to give one lucky fan a Grant of London wrist watch. A brand which for which he was recently made an ambassador. “Okpekete” was produced by Soso Soberekon, who also produced hit tracks “Obodo” by Nigga Raw and “Osondi Owendi” by MC Loph(RIP).
