GIRL ON THE TRENDS: SEEING STARS IN DOLCE AND GABBANA

share on:

Dolce and Gabbana is at it again and I am hopelessly in love with this new rave; star print fabric dresses. The mere thought of star print fabrics would make anyone cringe, I mean who wants to walk out of their house looking like an extra from the Harry Porter movie. But with Dolce and Gabbana it is all about executing a crazy fashion idea.

Dolce and Gabanna are known for their meticulous timeless dresses so it is no wonder that such a fun and free spirited fabric could be manipulated into chic dresses.

FASHION EDITOR’S PICK!

Kim Kardashian makes us “STARY EYED” (quite literally) in each of her three star print dresses on set of her cover and inside spread for Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Olivia Wilde goes for understated chic in her Dolce and Gabbana frock at a fashion event. Hair, make-up and accessories are kept minimal.

Rose McGowan is a 50s retro queen in this strapless star print number. She gives her dress a quirky feel with bright red pumps and fiery red lipstick.

Rose Byrne’s look in star print legging, ballet flats and a grey tee is unflattering and frumpy. Printed leggings are tricky to wear as the chances of your thighs looking almost twice their size are very high. Learn the hard way from Rose; next time you put on a pair of printed leggings wear pencil heels or wedges to give your legs an elongated illusion.
