Every now and then, I have a song I play over and over and eventually get tired of, before I can say,”Fashion Rocks”. This song always serves as an anthem and possibly influences what I wear in that period. My recent anthem is “Cosmic Love” by Florence and the machine. I always visualize myself in an open field wearing coloured skinny pants and a fur coat, dancing away in the rain.

Brings me to the topic, COLOURED PANTS!!!!

Coloured Pants have been back on the fashion map for a while(Summer’s hottest way to wear your trousers/jeans)and seem like they are still here to stay for as long as we want with a fashionable ode to the 90s. It adds a distinct pop to an otherwise casual outfit and also serves as a basis to colourblock an entire outfit.

A fearless statement meant for the bold and daring fashionistas. The bright and bold shades will help you break with the old time style rules and mix all the key colors of the season effortlessly.
There are many versatile ways of wearing/styling coloured pants, sticking to new trends and yet still making the look your own. It’s a great way to add some color while still being simple.

These bright lovelies come in flared, cigarette,  skinny, Jeans, wide legs, cropped pants and many more. Whatever your style is, it comes in a juicy bright or dark colour.  Get shopping if you don’t have them already.

* Don’t wear bright coloured pants if it’s highlighting an area you want to hide.

* Pairing bright high-waisted trousers with a pastel silk blouse will give you a 70’s inspired chic, color-blocked look.
