THE KEM KEM STUDIO A/W 12 LOOKBOOK

share on:

Kem Kem studio is hands down one of my favourite Nigerian designers, her incredible creative streak aside she is really talented when it comes to using tough African fabrics such as aso oke. Her A/W 12 lookbook really and truly illustrates her ability to manipulate ancient aso oke fabrics into modern and urban pieces that can be worn by the new generation Nigerian woman.

The collection features lace, prints, jersey and aso-oke. It is amazing how such different fabrics can be brought together under one collection to tell a designer’s story and create a specific theme.

The collection features blazers, layered dresses, edgy hooded jackets and coats.

I love this lookbook and I have been anticipating its release for months now.

We can’t wait to see what next kem kem studio has in store.
