She took part in two major music competitions in Lagos, Nigeria. The 1st was Creative Academii which started in September 2005, she became the last girl standing in the music category, 3rd position. Temitayo also performed in the West Africa Idols and emerged 2nd runner up. Her fans called her pretty and classy, a music star with a voice and stage performance that is both spectacular and international.
Since idols Temitayo has performed along side International artistes such as Michael Bolton, Angie Stone, Keri Hilson, PSquare, Darey, Sunny Neji, D’ bang and more.She’s fresh, attractive, aiming for the stars and set to positively affect the emotions of people through her inspirational songs. Since Idols, she released several hit singles, one was titled ‘Omo mi (My Child)‘ which she dedicated to her mum’s campaign to help street children. The other was called ‘In your eyes‘ which she says “was inspired by her love for all her spiritual brothers and sisters at the Little Saints Orphanage and was also dedicated to all her fans for their true love and support.
