I have decided to round up some 2011 summer essentials for you special people in Nigeria especially. Here they are with some pictures to go with them. If you have other summer items that should be here then share with us in the comment box.

This is a must have item in every woman’s closet this summer. These beauties are very comfortable and ever so stylish at the same time as well as flattering to most body shapes. They can be worn for most occasions and can also be easily transformed from a day to night look with the right accessories and also dependent on the fabric of course. If nothing at all, they are most especially useful for the constant need of some cooling air here in 9ja.

These trendy pair are fortunately here to stay and keep us flat-tucked as well. They are all so lengthening as well – which makes them extra fab. Only ever fabulous with a pair of great heels to get the complete effect. They hide the ghastly look of panties hanging out from a low-rise.  Wear them this season and make a fashion statement. Look chic, Look decent.

Striped tees are great -a little more fun than the regular tee-shirt.  Wear them short sleeved or long sleeved and with jeans shorts, skirts, under a blazer with linen pants – the possibilities are endless. You can make them edgy, smart and casual.Just make sure whatever you are pairing them with come plain and monotone – otherwise you might be arrested by a fashion police.

When it’s hot outside, the fewer pieces the better. A casually sexy tunic that compliments the body is always chic. Plain, sequined, Floral the choice is yours. Handle fashionably. 😉

This feminine yet bohemian-inspired pieces gives a youthful romanticism throughout summer. Paired with earth tone flats or heels (as the wind takes you)and an over-the-shoulder bag – it’s a sure banger!!!

These are simply what they are meant to be – flirty, fun, simple and chic. Varied styles and prints – endless sexiness. But careful when walking especially when the wind blows – chicken yansh fit open (Na wonder woman talk am, no be me). LOL.

P.S: Do not forget to apply some sunscreen, to protect your skin from getting burnt. 9ja sun can be b-r-u-t-a-l!!! Lol
