“I will hate to meet the man I’m suppose to be, therefore, it’s paramount I fulfill my purpose

This was Alex Amos‘ response to the question – “If you were to leave earth tomorrow, wat is the one thing that will make you beg God for more time?” during an interview with a magazine in early 2011. This answer shows vividly the motivation behind Alex’s passion.

Sound Engineer, Hip Hop student (president- The Monastery Hip Hop Forum), columnist (Dreamz Magazine), Disc Jockey, CEO, Lexyville Entertainment are some of the many activities of this prolific rap artist.

Born into a family of 5 as the second child and first son, he took his first major step into music in 1999 when he recorded his first mixtape with the group Souljazz of Genesis at DJ Funky Jay‘s studio, Ebute Meta. He went solo in 2002 after having a brief stint with the now defunct group Canaries

Most of his works did not make the airwaves till 2006 when he release to the airwaves, “Aye Yi” produced by Rymzo. The single was tagged “highly phylosophical” on Raypower Home Drive. His background in English Language/Literature in English has helped to enrich his lyrical poise.
