May is a month of significant dates for Nigerians and foreigners alike. May Day is a celebrated holiday for workers all over the world; unfortunately, this year’s May Day falls on Sunday (thank God for the Nigerian Federal Government) we move weekend holidays to Monday (yippeeeee!!!).  Asides May Day, we have the Children’s Day celebration which is also a global holiday for children around the world. Another special holiday for us in Nigeria is May 29th; Democracy Day! A day we remember as the transition to democracy from military rule.
