The #XONation is back in the building; so you know you are about to rock with X.O Senavoe
After blowing up Faboloso’s “You Be Killin’ Em” instrumental on “C4“, X.O decides to drop his tribute joint “Mama (Can You Hear Me?)” to his late mum and mothers everywhere as a pre-release off his highly anticipated “Xpoint0” EP to coincide with the May’s Mothers’ Day weekend which was also her Month of Birth.
Featuring the talented Ghanaian singer Efya, “Mama” is a very moving heartfelt joint on which X.O gets very emotional and personal as he pours all his love for her and how he appreciates all the sacrifices she made for him before she sadly passed away in 2004. In X.O’s words, it is a love letter to her, and a beautiful reminder for us to appreciate our mothers and mothers everywhere, recognizing the sacrifices they make to get us where we are.
Hope this serves as a reminder to pick up that phone/car keys and call/visit your mum now. Let’s cherish them always.
X.O Senavoe also dedicates this song to his “brother in and out of music” Ice Prince Zamani who just lost his mother.
R.I.P Mrs Zamani!
Ice Prince, on behalf of the 360noBS family, I pray the good Lord gives you and your family grace and strength to endure this loss. May her gentle soul find eternal rest in the bossom of her creator.
The song was produced by Studio Magic.
“Xpoint0” drops soon. Join the #XONation and get familiar!
