Tonight will be Epic!!! The wait is finally over! With minutes to the kickoff, have your say and make your predictions on the outcome…

The 2010/11 UEFA Champions League is down to just 2 teams …probably the 2 best teams in the world right now and it’s a fixture like no other – the flamboyant Barcelona vs the effective Manchester United at Wembley ….to claim Europe’s biggest prize.

This will be Manchester United’s 3rd final in four seasons while it will be Barça’s 3rd in six. Both won their respective domestic leagues with ease …Manutd overthrowing Liverpool with 19EPLs in the bag and Barcelona winning with an impressive haul of 96points.

In a rematch of the 2009 final that was won 2-0 by Barcelona in Rome, both teams will be seeking a 4th European title and a second final triumph at England’s national stadium, United in 1968 against Benfica & Barcelona in 1992 against Sampdoria.

The match pits the competition’s best attack (Barcelona’s 27 goals) against the best defence (Manutd’s 4 conceded goals).

Barcelona are favourites due to their star players …they have all 3 finalists of the 2010 Ballon d’Or awards – Messi, Iniesta and Xavi. Messi is the campaign leading goal scorer with 11goals. The Camp Nou giants have scored in their last 20 Champions League encounters. Rubin Kazan was the last team to shut them out back in November 2009.

This season for United has shown the birth of new star in  Javier Hernandez who in his 1st season has been crucial to their success and seems to link perfectly in attack with Wayne Rooney. Edwin Van der Sar will make his 99th overall appearance in the competition on Saturday and if ManUtd win, will become the oldest player to lift the Champions League trophy. It is also worthy to note that Manchester United’s last loss in the CL came against Bayern Munich in March 2010.

It’s also the battle of the old experienced warhorse Sir Alex Ferguson against the young enterprising Pep Guardiola.

Players to watch:  Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Wayne Rooney(ManUtd)
