ANITA,THANK YOU FOR SPENDING THE NIGHT WITH ME……

share on:

I wrote this article in  June 2009 on Facebook. Just touched it up a bit

WANDE,ULOMA, OGAEMMA, AISHA, JOSSY, EMMANUEL, NNEKA, YETUNDE, CHILAKA, MOTUNRAYO, CHIDI, AUNTY ADA, TUNDE, MUNACHI, ANITA, UGO, DAN, MADAM NGOZI, TUNDE, CHIMA, NKIRU, SOLA, EBUBE, ALERO, TOCHI, YINKA, TUNDE, EBUBE, GEORGE, TOBECHUKWU, NNENNA, GODFREY, IDIOKO,ONOJA, NDUKWE, BASSY, EDOM, YETUNDE, AGABA, JIDE, OKECHUKWU, THOMAS, FRED, DAMIAN, TUNDE, IBRO, AUDU, ADEJOH, ROSELYN, FLORA, IHENNA, PEACE, JANE, ISIOMA, SEUN, OBOT & CONSTANCE.

We all forget too soon.  We sometimes misplace our priorities in life.  We chase shadows in most cases. We focus on the small things in life. We give up too easily. We always forget to say “Thank you”

I got a call this morning from an old friend back in school and during the conversation I asked him about his neighbour whom we used to wake up late at night to ask for Indomie and he told me that the man has passed on; that got me thinking Why didn’t I ever call him to say “Thank You” after we left school?

How come I never bothered to find out about his family at any point during his lifetime?  For someone who sold Indomie and Coca Cola to me on credit even though he didn’t know me from Adam and was under no obligations to render such services to me. May his soul rest in peace.

I’ve tried to compile a list of people who have been instrumental to the ME I know today but the list gets updated everyday. Some of them sold food to me; some washed my car, some were my mechanic, some were night guards, some cleaned my windshield while I was in traffic. Some of them spent the night with me in the hospital and some of them are still helping me out till date.

Looking around me today, I have so many reasons to thank God for but 90% of these things would not have been possible without assistance from other people. To them and everyone out there who has done or will render service to me, Thank you very much.

Special Thanks to Nurse Anita, thank you for spending the night just to take care of me, even though it was not your shift. To everybody that has ever left a comment on any of my articles, promoted 360nobs.com, May God continue to bless you and your family.

To everyone reading, God will bless your hustle

Please take out time to say Thank you and tip whenever you can.

On a lighter note, can one say Thank You if the sex was good? Thank you for reading

  8. I can totally relate to this (well not the sex part) but my few years on earth have taught me to never take people/ the little things for granted. I say thank you for the most random things: “hello” “me: thank you, it’s *** speaking”. Joke, in essence, show your loved ones/ people you aren’t so dear to you that you appreciate them before it’s too late xxx

  9. ….ofcourse it is okay to say thank you if the sex is good.
