Aisha and Tunde work in the same company but in different departments. At first, it was just work but one night while working overnight on a client’s brief they found themselves kissing and that kicked off a relationship. While Tunde wants them to keep everything on the down low, Aisha wants a total PDA.

A school of thought believes that Office Romance is a no no, while some people don’t see anything wrong with office romance as far as it does not affect the output of the individuals involved.

What is your opinion? For Or Against?

  1. Depends on the office, depends on the “romance”, depends on the people involved; depends on if you have “insurance”.

  2. There is nothing wrong as long as u keep it on the low and do not let it interfere with your official duties. PDA is a no no in dis case.

  3. Office romance well….one thing i say is never say never. Matters of the heart are very dicey and this thing called love can happen in the most unlikely places. I am ALLLLLL for it but pls on the down low so that when the ship sails it wont go down and messy like the Titanic.

  4. Only one questuon: any of the contributors b4 me been involved in one? If ur answer is no then pls read Mis E’s comment well well.

  5. I’m against it totally but unfortunately my boss is seriously on my case.I’m tryin to be diplomatic but I still need an advise on how to handle him.

  6. I have been there….hmmm!not a bad thing though! But U gotta set ur priorities straight so it doesn’t get all messy n shit…….yeah!!!

  7. 4 me its a no go area becos asides the gossip & bickering u cnt be all up in each others space or faces when you need do real serious task & sometimes make decisions, also there would definitely be sentiments attached when delegating & stuff & come to think of it there’s a stress level you get to @ work that most times after work you need a partner/friend/boyfrnd whom works in a different place to hlp u ease out after a rough workday, (trust me u wont need ur boifrnd 2 working in da same place as u at dat time besides he’ll b dealing wit his own “similar issues”) & dis to me makes everything boring….
i also think that when couples work in close proximity, the relationship begins to meld with the job world, becos there’s a huge chance that conflict at work may be brought home at the end of the day.

  8. Mehnnnnn As a FYI… and an african man we can only pray we dont get caught up in that web….. But Trust mi if it happens.. My lips are SEAL’D

  9. Besides Company rules, there’s nothing wrong in office romance as long as there is no declaration of love by one party.
Office romance becomes complicated when feelings are involved.Office romance should be handled Professionally,it’s basically an affair and not relationship

  10. I was involved in office romance once and trust me it wasnt easy. We thought, we managed to keep it out of the office environment but that was just it, a thought. We did however, have our highs and our lows and some fun did come out of it.

  11. It’s a two way thing.
Yes…cos if it works out, it cud lead 2 marriage.
No…cos if it doesnt work out….u wud hav 1 or 2 embittered soul(s).
My advise is 2 b preoared 4 whateva consequence dat follows.
