MORSI PR’s My Style Factory: The Pictures

share on:

‎Morsi PR “My Style Factory” held at Coral Hall,Victoria Island on the 21st of November 2010.  I dragged myself out of bed, although i have to say that  I was surprised to find myself there because I was too tired to imagine being in any other place other than my bed in the aftermath of the Soundcity Music Video Awards the Day before.

It seemed like I just opened my eyes and I was at the Coral hall, being welcomed with Music from the DJ in this wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere with neatly arranged stalls boasting amazing and tempting goodies for us to buy.

Amede, Simeogieme, Patrick Ayanski, Mariam Ilaka, LaBennis, FaraFina, Retrospective, Republic of Foreigner, Busy Wears, Laruci and a host of others had very busy stalls as the shoppers trooped in, taking turns to peruse the goods on display and walk away with fabulous items. While covering the event and taking down names of the shoppers, I did not fail to Snag myself a lovely Patrick Ayanski Headpiece…absolutely amazing!

BECCA COSMETICS
Product Bio:
The goal of Becca cosmetics is to provide customers with a flawless and perfect make-up finish. It was founded by Australian make-up artist Rebecca Morrice Williams. Frustrated by not being able to find the perfect foundation that would give her clients the perfect flawless and natural look she was hoping for she set out to start her own cosmetics brand. The result is a line of skin protecting cosmetics that make it possible for women to experience the pleasure of flawless weightless make-up.

Review:
I was taken aback after observing that the products under this line consist of only neutral/brown tones with the slightest hint of shimmer as opposed to other cosmetic brand that have entered into the Nigerian market whose collections are more colorful and vibrant. My personal tastes aside; it was refreshing to finally discover a brand whose number one priority was skin protection. Many products promise long lasting wear and endless shimmer but we forget to take good care of our skin when using our beauty products. If you are aiming for a fabulous look while putting the well being of your skin into consideration, Becca Cosmetics is the answer to your prayers.

Review:
MUD cosmetics swept us off our feet and wooed us with those insanely beautiful promotional ads by cover girl Genevieve Nnaji. Her hair and manicure immaculate, the eye colors on her lids perfectly blended in, highlighters on her facial bone structure expertly applied to bring her best features to life, we were all in awe. Since the introduction of MUD, it has proved to stand the test of time both for consumers and in the competitive market. Well I should know, I was treated to a mini touch up session and my make-up lasted the whole night without fading! If you are looking for long lasting wearability, choose MUD.
