360Performances: MI In Calabar – December 4, 2010

share on:

It’s no longer news “MI2” is out and trended at No 7 worldwide on twitter neither is it news that Calabar hosts one of the biggest Carnivals in west Africa but  I personally think it was a big deal watching MI perform on the stage of the Calabar Christmas Festival to thousands of people.

At about 11:20pm when Mr Incredible got on the stage, the crowd went “mad” and a lady threw her panties on the stage. Okay I lied it was not her panties, it was her handkerchief but then she threw something sha.

MI took the crowd through some songs from MI2, which surprisingly some of the crowd sang along to it and then crowned the night with popular tunes from his first album “Talk About it”.

The highest of the night was when MI offered a recording opportunity to contestant that performed his tracks during a singing completion earlier in the night.

MI promised to fly him to Lagos to meet the Choc Boys on a select weekend as well as record three songs for him featuring Ice Prince on one, Jesse Jags on the second one and himself on the last one.

It was an MI2 night and till date, residents of Cross River State are still talking about it.

Yup get familiar ( Not Oye) with the video

  1. Is it singing completion or competition?

    The ‘highest of the night’…?

You perform in front of thousands of people not to thousands …

The ‘editor’ needs a few strokes of the cane.

noble igwe, u have abadoned memoirs of a slush kid abi? That’s the problem with some Nigerians: inconsistency. Whether msk is actually true is up for debate but it’s very wrong to bolt off like that. Na you sabi.

    MI rocks.
