Tomi Odunsi is a talented singer and songwriter with a distinctive, supple and effortlessly pleasing voice; her music is a fusion of contemporary urban beats with traditional Nigerian music rhythms and melodies, particularly her native Yoruba, creating a distinctive, authentic and organic new sound as the backdrop for lyrics reflecting the ideals, aspirations and life experiences of her generation, while also showcasing her deep love for and pride in her cultural heritage.

Also an actor, Tomi is probably best known for her musical and dramatic performances in abOriginal productions’ theatre productions Fractures and the smash-hit Oluronbi: The Musical. She recently completed her studies toward a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and African & Asian Studies at the University of Lagos.

A refreshing new entrant into the Nigerian music industry, Tomi describes herself as “simple but honest; complex, but authentic- with no pretence”. She is an emerging star whose career trajectory bears following.

Mi O Le Think” (a classy, soulful R&B ballad produced by E Kelly), and “Under“, (a club banger produced by TK) are her initial offerings. Tomi is signed to abOriginal music, a division of abOriginal productions.
