Lose your culture! Lose your identity! A life journey of any living thing is like a self-battle, no one is sure of its destination.

“Labo” is a multi-lingual, Afro-Caribbean, British movie based on a family battle for cultural supremacy. It’s emphasized on family issues, relationships and marriage between two foreigners and young offenders living abroad.

“Labo” speaks to migrants/Africans in the Diaspora as a reminder that there is no place like home. As time passes it becomes easy to immerse yourself in western culture and lose your sense of tradition as you grasp unto a foreign way of life. However, even if you don’t like the conditions in your homeland, don’t condemn it.  Never forget your roots and culture where your relatives are still battling for survival in their own journeys.

The movie portrays the life of a Mixed Diasporan husband who decides to relocate back to his home country, convinced his adult children and foreign wife to relocate with him. They heeded his call but would things work as anticipated by the husband? “Labo” movie is first of its kind coming out of Nollywood movie industry. This is a most watch movie.
