Was scrolling lazily on my Twitter timeline this morning when most of the tweets I saw were students of Universities either tweeting about their new fill-in job which will keep them busy during the period of this strike or seeking these jobs also for the purpose of this same strike.
Its already two weeks and ASUU is still at logger-heads with FG as ASUU leaders of the various branches nationwide are still insisting that the strike runs for the 3 months as presumed earlier. Students during this period are definitely going to be very lazy and a lot of mischievous thoughts might occupy their brains (I’ve been mischievous lately too but, who cares? **eyes rolling**).
The “Money Must be Made” set of students are out on the streets seeking means to make a little change while the productive students now have more time for their small scale businesses.
NB: Although the duration of the strike is still uncertain, the question now is, what if the strike is called off tomorrow? What will be the fate of these students, shey they will now tell their oga, they don’t need the job again? Abi they will tell their lecturers that, see we’re not ready for classes jare, we need money” **In Obasanjo’s Voice** I dey laugh oooo
