Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Claire Danes were among the night’s biggest winners at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards with shades of pink – ranging from vibrant coral to the softest nudes and blush being the winning colour.
Jessica Alba blushed in pre Autum/Winter 2013 -14 Oscar de la Renta strapless dress, while Jennifer Lopez absolutely dazzled in Zuhair Murad with her young boyfriend Casper Smart as the other accesory, Megan Fox in Dolce & Gabbana and Amy Adams in the palest of nude hues.
Both Hathaway and her Les Misérables co-star Amanda Seyfried chose virginal white gowns with Hathaway in 2009 s/s Chanel couture. Despite the injection of colour and print on this year’s red carpet, the classic black gown also made an appearance but this time in more daring styles. Leading the pack in black, Kate Hudson and Nicole Kidman, both in Alexander McQueen, Rachel Weisz in Louis Vuitton and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Yves Saint Laurent.
I must add that it was definitely a night of fashion in it’s highest awesomeness. I love that celebrities went all out for this season’s latest trends. There are loads of style ideas to pick from for a special event as well as cuts that would look flattering on your body- have fun experimenting.
