A singer with a hip-hop alter ego, Juke’s music can be described as a good blend of HipHop, R&B and Pop. Juke started off writing little verses to songs back in secondary school and then fine-tuned his writing skills with a group known as DBR which comprised three other members but is now defunct.

Juke shows us his soft loverboy side and expresses a weird but typical love situation which is not uncommon in our world today. Adding a little reggae twist to the song thereby making it a little bit different from what we’re used to, the tone and sincerity conveyed on “Prisoner” makes it possible for anyone in this kind of situation to relate to it.
